Google Talk connectivity
Nimbuzz allows you to add your Google Talk contacts into your Nimbuzz buddylist in the easiest possible way.
Using Nimbuzz Mobile
Just click 'Select' in the main screen of Nimbuzz Mobile, select 'Add new Contact' and the 'Add Contact' screen appears. Select 'Add contact by name' Fill in the Google Talk UserID of your buddy [userID, without @gmail.com], click the Google Talk option@gmail.com] and click 'OK'.
Now the subscription request is automatically processed within both the Nimbuzz and Google Talk community. A new 'Subscription' screen appears, allowing you to accept or deny your request after which Nimbuzz allows you to change the knickname of your buddy into the desired alias you want to use for this buddy. By clicking OK your Google Talk buddy is automatically added into your Nimbuzz contactlist. After clicking 'OK' the contact appears in your Nimbuzz contactlist. That's all.
Using Nimbuzz for Windows
Just click on 'Contacts' and then 'Add Contact' after which the 'Add Contact' popup screen appears. Fill in the Google Talk UserID of your buddy [userID@gmail.com] and click the 'Add Contact' button.
Now the subscription request is automatically processed within both the Nimbuzz and Google Talk community. A new 'Subscription Request' popup appears, allowing you to accept your request after which your Google Talk buddy is automatically added into your Nimbuzz contactlist. After clicking 'OK' the contact appears in your Nimbuzz contactlist. That's all.
Tips
You can change your buddy's knickname by right clicking with your mouse on his ID , select 'View Profile'. Within User Profile, disable knickname usage and type in the desired alias you want to use for your buddy.
Google Talk buddies have different presence icons. Remember, you cannot Buzz nor send Messages to Google Talk buddies from within Nimbuzz! For using these functionalities they need to register with Nimbuzz.
